Dear Families:

We are excited to partner with you as part of the Warren County R-III community, where collaboration between families and educators fosters a lifelong love of learning in every student. At Warrior Ridge, we are committed to working together to provide meaningful opportunities for students to engage, grow, and lead. This handbook is designed to be a helpful resource, offering guidance on building operations, curriculum standards, and student expectations.

At Warrior Ridge Elementary, we implement Positive Behavior Support (PBS) to help create a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment. PBS is a proactive, school-wide approach focused on teaching and reinforcing positive behavior across all settings. Our behavior framework is built around the “Big 3” expectations: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. Using consistent language and expectations, we guide and support students in making positive choices throughout their educational journey. To strengthen our efforts, tiered intervention teams meet monthly to review and refine our common language and strategies, ensuring consistent support for all students. Warrior Ridge has been recognized as a Tier Three  level school by the state of Missouri for our positive multi-tiered systems of support systems.

Warrior Ridge Elementary offers a rigorous, research-based curriculum grounded in developmentally appropriate practices. Many of our curriculum resources, along with parent and student activities, are available on our website: https://warriorridgeelementary.warrencor3.org. Our instructional approach includes reteaching, practice, and enrichment opportunities to ensure all students are supported and challenged. Through differentiated instruction, we strive to meet each student’s unique learning needs and keep them actively engaged. We are proud to be recognized as a National Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) School, with strong tiered intervention systems and collaborative teams dedicated to student success.

Together in learning,

Dr. Brandy Patterson
